Ningyi Liao

Biography

I received my Ph.D degree from the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Siqiang Luo. I am also closely collaborating with Prof. Laks Lakshmanan at The University of British Columbia. My research interest lies in graph learning and efficient machine learning, particularly scalable graph neural networks and efficient retrieval-augmented generation.

Before joining NTU, I received my B.Eng. degree in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2021, where I conducted research with Prof. Liyao Xiang at the John Hopcroft Center for Computer Science. I also interned at ByteDance Singapore and JD Digits (now JD Technology).
